Song: Galloping To Freedom
Dec 12, 2023 Season 1

Beginnings are formed when something else ends,
A skin that was torn, with healing, now mends,
The scars of our past are now etched in stone,
A map to the future when trav’lin’ alone.

A home without peace makes a child want to fight,
A life spent in shadow won’t recognize the light,
Though gray skies may gather, seek shelter from the storm,
Just rise above those dark clouds and the sun’ll keep you warm

The rivers are running, both faster and red,
Now water flows scarlet with the help of the dead,
Break free from the present, with fury and force,
And run like the river with haste from the source.

Free of the duties, and free of the shame,
Free of the people that gave you their name,
Freedom to see a better day ahead,
The freedom of death without being dead.

Now left all alone, with the pain of the past,
The trials of present are not meant to last,
When your’re left with nothin’, hold onto what counts,
Cause the harder they hit you the higher you bounce.
